Cotton, the fabric of warm weather season. Nothing beats a crisp cotton dress that falls just right and breathes beautifully on a hot summer day. The older I get, the pickier I am with fabrics and the more experience I have with them. Since I’m constantly designing and working with fabrics, it’s made me even more aware of the quality, weight and hand feel of them all. There’s a big difference between cottons (hence higher price points!), and I’d much rather pay more for something I’ll have for years.
